<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhbKFUTEI0GHEmm3PJlcfHFFRwR2bP-NJBwNdowx_EWP3JlGQToNca263mBq6ADf1-mv8z-1fFXj9k-lfQwsTw5Jo8RhmXrldql-RIdbj0JQKkp3-r1kaWylJm3-SXZkFWH0xxcJIlUdc/s1600/005.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhbKFUTEI0GHEmm3PJlcfHFFRwR2bP-NJBwNdowx_EWP3JlGQToNca263mBq6ADf1-mv8z-1fFXj9k-lfQwsTw5Jo8RhmXrldql-RIdbj0JQKkp3-r1kaWylJm3-SXZkFWH0xxcJIlUdc/s320/005.JPG" width="235" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"></div>So in that process, I got out some Peel n Stick Ruler Tape, a couple of more dies, buttons, a doily, and some paper from the scrap box.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhREs2e5pDC6-_8Hjz5zL3tFBNewRiK75MQu9oa6IZHcbKN-dEy74lrHJ-iekm0owuXVmlk0LGp-yzinsjCyAtQRLkAryz3QnNLn5C0U8Rvym0X_My29HLMmgDSaahd71mx0VhE6iumtbI/s1600/006.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="226" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhREs2e5pDC6-_8Hjz5zL3tFBNewRiK75MQu9oa6IZHcbKN-dEy74lrHJ-iekm0owuXVmlk0LGp-yzinsjCyAtQRLkAryz3QnNLn5C0U8Rvym0X_My29HLMmgDSaahd71mx0VhE6iumtbI/s320/006.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
Here is the inside which caused me to cut up another sheet of paper [more bits for the scrap box]. Another set of stamps, one more die and some stickles.<br />
<br />
Well now I really NEED to clean off my table, because I have NO place to work!happyDianehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17986023466747064574noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4925906555701990707.post-31038812192124355622012-03-13T10:04:00.001-07:002012-03-13T10:08:54.871-07:00Stampers BestRecently I was showing a friend the stamps that I purchased from <a href="http://www.stampersbest.com/home.php" target="_blank">Stampers Best</a>, I commented how I seem to be <em>collecting</em> stamps and dies about sewing. So I challenged myself and started with my newest stamps.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiM2S-X7q_9dKIm-PeiH5kl0sudqhKG-CjuB6lixbWIhOCkunjAO37VYBIWxwz9JirikxRsu_b6iw_u-bd62WINaw8DjIAgIOtsN11qDwjIcIZ57Yhu-SY8KKpu5sd15dfeagTcFDJBGyQ/s1600/034.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiM2S-X7q_9dKIm-PeiH5kl0sudqhKG-CjuB6lixbWIhOCkunjAO37VYBIWxwz9JirikxRsu_b6iw_u-bd62WINaw8DjIAgIOtsN11qDwjIcIZ57Yhu-SY8KKpu5sd15dfeagTcFDJBGyQ/s320/034.JPG" width="230" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
I sure was tickled when I realized how nice the scissors from The <a href="http://www.stampersbest.com/product.php?productid=420&cat=16&page=1" target="_blank">Sewing Kit Rubber Stamp Set</a> fit into the Ticket Strip die. The flowers on The Thinking of You ticket was made with the flowers from the end of the ruler from the same set, and a stamp from <em>Just Rite - With Sympathy set</em>.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div align="left" class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0HSthuEMCCRIHncz82y_rKAvSZKKpsXKMEOq5CAn5tPCk4IK899AjHDX0oDVuPfAvvTTxVWGnOmHGYFbXbeqO3Al1MvNjKNU1bkoBQ3Cg1LapbjuiG6h6dL668fSL0HV_CjV4V5inHNg/s1600/036.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh0HSthuEMCCRIHncz82y_rKAvSZKKpsXKMEOq5CAn5tPCk4IK899AjHDX0oDVuPfAvvTTxVWGnOmHGYFbXbeqO3Al1MvNjKNU1bkoBQ3Cg1LapbjuiG6h6dL668fSL0HV_CjV4V5inHNg/s320/036.JPG" width="233" /></a></div><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
The second card I used the Sewing Room die and a stamp from My Minds Eye. I finally used some of those tiny buttons that I had bought years ago!<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKjEIXHDlH2itcMhNfI2eXR39k6eM6IK9GAUmX9tTEBip27iXTqAZJc5oVypH7sR2naWjBd7pusWrba1-pr0kaYYoD1KkDO3iZYFdIF2ulQCuoKGAZ9pYKvUf_wyC4UAWryWduRCrBNOs/s1600/039.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="228" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhKjEIXHDlH2itcMhNfI2eXR39k6eM6IK9GAUmX9tTEBip27iXTqAZJc5oVypH7sR2naWjBd7pusWrba1-pr0kaYYoD1KkDO3iZYFdIF2ulQCuoKGAZ9pYKvUf_wyC4UAWryWduRCrBNOs/s320/039.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>The inside of both cards is the same. I stamped <a href="http://www.stampersbest.com/product.php?productid=406&cat=16&page=1" target="_blank">Flourish Dress Form</a> twice. Once on the background and then on some scrap that was also embossed with LSG Royal Burgundy. The dress was fussey cut, then I used foam tape in the center and glued down the edges. The <em>When I awoke</em>, is from Angel's Attic. <br />
The cards are 5x7 and Cosmo Cricket's <em>Material Girl</em> paper and Brillance ink were used.<br />
Thanks for looking!<br />

I finished my card on time but didn't post it. I made a Double Swing card inspired by <a href="http://youtu.be/Ee9rzwzCJqI" target="_blank">Stampwithtami</a>. I used the <a href="http://ourdailybreaddesigns.com/GodsLove.html" target="_blank">God's Love</a> bundle to create the cards. I made six of them, because they were so much fun to make!<br />

The cover is a cereal box, with ends and one side cute off. I was inspired to use paper clay by <a href="http://barbowenartandsoul.squarespace.com/journal/2012/2/11/day-41-love-is.html" target="_blank">Barb</a> and <a href="http://youtu.be/iNshFZifnEw" target="_blank">Paperclay Ornaments</a> The word 'to' is die cut. Inspire was also die cute, but I used LSG embossing powder, Royal Burgundy Blue, which I think is my favorite. The paper is packing that had been saved. I sprayed it with A LOT of different LSG Starburst sprays. I did use Rangers Ink Refresher also, but because I used 2 coats of Mod Podge, you can't tell.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtr9CsFjjfvc4mPZpEgEu703RJ74z4d2VesgGaLdCAd5hKjCzQq758uoPFoPn00-OgYBSkXkoWGg2qaWpI-ULFoYVGmx-kfVAG0lhVH0kapkUJi62M03rXkFFlgckCcyo9bDMxHgVBlTA/s1600/004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgtr9CsFjjfvc4mPZpEgEu703RJ74z4d2VesgGaLdCAd5hKjCzQq758uoPFoPn00-OgYBSkXkoWGg2qaWpI-ULFoYVGmx-kfVAG0lhVH0kapkUJi62M03rXkFFlgckCcyo9bDMxHgVBlTA/s200/004.JPG" width="90" /></a>The spine is my favorite!! I was inspire by the very creative <a href="http://www.youtube.com/user/jennibellie" target="_blank">Jennibellie</a>. I did have to add to beads that I've had around here, but most are paper beads that I had made.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

<br />
Most of my spray bottles were already filled and the little colored dot put on top. So then the next order came and sat and sat. Finally got around to fixing up the bottles last night. The small shoebox has the LSG Moon Shadow Mist and Adirondac Color Washes. The large has all my Starburst Stains.<br />
<br />

This is my <em>spray booth</em>, it's a 14x15in. box that some speakers came in.<br />
<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
These tags have my LSG embossing colors. For each color I stamped with Versamark on white cs and then on black cs. I used the same SU stamp for all of them. I also used the small and large tag punch from SU. The back of the tags I made labels with names of the colors. It is <em>very</em> handy to the differences in the colors.<br />
<br />
Well this is part of the UIU challenge, getting my supplies ready!<br />

So I've been wanting to try doing something with an image from <a href="http://freevintagedigistamps.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Free Vintage Stamps</a> this was a perfect opportunity.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Using a word processing program, I imported the image and resized it and then just copied and paste 3 more times. I printed it on 'index weight' paper, then cut out less of the imagine each time. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXYbVNyO_nveX0Mij7f9Lx_xB3wbYEeNMO13TIyea0hIyRIYs-aIMiVChz3cBkc3O76dFAHdtUPAe51yoV1WV6LWZWWA09ZmNS7md4di2RjuheZNedDmkTmwzc1H6cq9JnHJweRmhwO7k/s1600/004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXYbVNyO_nveX0Mij7f9Lx_xB3wbYEeNMO13TIyea0hIyRIYs-aIMiVChz3cBkc3O76dFAHdtUPAe51yoV1WV6LWZWWA09ZmNS7md4di2RjuheZNedDmkTmwzc1H6cq9JnHJweRmhwO7k/s200/004.JPG" width="150" /></a>The first layer was mounted on a piece of cereal box that was put through the Xyron and I colored the lettering. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvKnkBTRoBIbMcE8q5SuDAuwwJgI39yFu4Sk-VfRmHMW91tvbtQV8hikI7C8Bi8vlwG7rUXyK_uI-wUNE817BHCQb3z5_W1w-gShAv-FkQvxOkV8GgsnhFop0IP_uFKrQvG04FhCZoy2k/s1600/005.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvKnkBTRoBIbMcE8q5SuDAuwwJgI39yFu4Sk-VfRmHMW91tvbtQV8hikI7C8Bi8vlwG7rUXyK_uI-wUNE817BHCQb3z5_W1w-gShAv-FkQvxOkV8GgsnhFop0IP_uFKrQvG04FhCZoy2k/s200/005.JPG" width="150" /></a></div>The second layer the stool was colored, the third her ribbon and socks, the last the kitten and puppy. <br />
<br />
I used Twinkling H2Os to color. I decide to glue each layer, because foam dots would make it too high.<br />
<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgisLuiJe2YoKQzaKMHSRn8UYnrhoCS-z5_m07Kr0ECN8St9b3eWXbvCFjSwyJXMZ_CHcfoIndHnsF4GRkBXHRT5UJMWgdbUsTc0PzraPNsrCXn5o2ldmxOerdZdWoHVNuPPvHAH7Hs3NA/s1600/002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgisLuiJe2YoKQzaKMHSRn8UYnrhoCS-z5_m07Kr0ECN8St9b3eWXbvCFjSwyJXMZ_CHcfoIndHnsF4GRkBXHRT5UJMWgdbUsTc0PzraPNsrCXn5o2ldmxOerdZdWoHVNuPPvHAH7Hs3NA/s200/002.JPG" width="200" /></a><br />
The inside I put the patterned paper on some cereal box with the Xyron and cut with the some Sizzix dies. <br />
<br />
All of the paper was found in my scrap box.happyDianehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17986023466747064574noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4925906555701990707.post-87489977629116502102012-01-10T08:24:00.000-08:002012-02-06T19:54:35.117-08:00Use It Up! Wk. 1So far so good! I've dipped into my beads, wire, brads, and paper stash! A little project that I did to use up the paper scraps from my last mini, was to make some backgrounds for cards.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVVdI46zHIItGydN8HK13v9jb1nJ2iMuc2Pr7TsNaVqzDPZ9T4JQN8tOi6_L7H1L6RljuvHHBFnu0hUsptvyx02jf17wv6TxRq49_10KOtk5ZW_i5Rq3qLpbeRuDZVEOsxIBrW1a4I4zA/s1600/012.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVVdI46zHIItGydN8HK13v9jb1nJ2iMuc2Pr7TsNaVqzDPZ9T4JQN8tOi6_L7H1L6RljuvHHBFnu0hUsptvyx02jf17wv6TxRq49_10KOtk5ZW_i5Rq3qLpbeRuDZVEOsxIBrW1a4I4zA/s200/012.JPG" width="200" /></a></div><br />
To make I put a piece of paper through my xyron create a sticker and laid 1 inch strips of paper on it. Next I cut the strips into 1/4 inch strips and put them on a another piece of paper in a paper.<br />
The bottom one was done with cover, I used some black strips to make it a bit larger.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJaxQ0cgxbLHwxR_WrZ-Ix6Oy-lMN_NKgUIQc2dMpQdK2dWmRtx_W3vl0H5lASw_ThHTucggFGEdFuh6KdKorYzB9Y-iHyJfwERuFOVCF7sCJwCN-d7vEht6Z8LSI2_DD25wUkQ2msgnM/s1600/016.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><img border="0" height="150" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJaxQ0cgxbLHwxR_WrZ-Ix6Oy-lMN_NKgUIQc2dMpQdK2dWmRtx_W3vl0H5lASw_ThHTucggFGEdFuh6KdKorYzB9Y-iHyJfwERuFOVCF7sCJwCN-d7vEht6Z8LSI2_DD25wUkQ2msgnM/s200/016.JPG" width="200" /></a></div>The backgrounds here were made with paper that was in my scrap bin!<br />
